exhaust help!!
exhaust help!! If it makes any difference the car has a 402 ls2 with longtube headers. Ive been through so many exhaust systems that Im just not happy with. I dont drive the car everday but I would like it to not sound so much like a drag car on the street. I had true duals with an xpipe before and then switched to a spohn chassis mount torque arm with driveshaft loop. With this in place, the xpipe would not fit around it without being a few inches from the ground. I tried to have a custom xpipe made and it just wouldnt bend around the torque arm brace. So I stuck flowmaster single chambers off the headers with turndowns...obviously this was way too loud. Then I had an Hpipe made and stuck the single chambers on that and dumped it at the axle. Its still way too low and not much quiter.
Would it hurt power if I went back to an ORY pipe and say a hooker catback and stuck a cutout after the ORY?
