Gap on spark plugs

The wire loops have specific thicknesses (stamped next to each loop), and are used to guage the plug gap (drag the loop thru the gap; the gap is the loop size when the loop drags with some resistance);
The hooky things are to lever/bend the ground electrode (attached to the threaded portion of the plug) to change the gap dimension.
