Is this ok to clean a throttle body with?

Default Is this ok to clean a throttle body with?

Will steel wool and regular dish soap be alright to clean out my TB, don't want to screw anything up. Thanks

I have used Simple Green and hot water after removing the sensors. I just made sure it was well rinsed and dry before reinstalling the sensors.

Anything that is safe for aluminum should be fine. I used parts cleaner but seafoam is what I'm gonna try next. Might let the **** soak in there for a little wihle.

Thanks guys, i thought it would be ok but I didnt want the shaft that the blade is bolted to to end up sticking or rusting internally.

use a carb cleaner, dish soap tends to leave a residue behind regardless of rinse.....i wouldnt use that anyway....thats something your wife should be using....theres a "man rule" on that somewhere
