Default FAST 90mm intake

If I am just doing a cam in my car should I go with the 90mm or 78mm since I have a ls1 intake on my 2000 TA. Will I lose low end torque too if I don't have higher gears then a 3.42

Thanks

If you want something to base it off of. I run that 244/248 cam with a FAST 78. Picked up over 420rwhp. With the FAST intakes, they claim that you will not lose bottom end grunt, or lowend tq. However, your cam selection can have a lot to do with that happening. If you are looking at anything over 230's I would suggest maybe gearing to at least a 3.73.

would rather go with the 78mm fast since it is about 150-200 cheaper, but I am kind of confused.

I Used A Ported 78mm Set Up With A 228/232 Combo With Ported Ls6 Heads And This Combo Rocks For A Customer Of Mine. A4 Car With 3.73 Gears. Torque Couldn't Be Any Happier With This Set Up. And The Icl Is On A 106. Just My 2 Cents.
