Default how to fix

what i have to do to get rid of the banging y pipe. Thinking of getting poly mounts???

that will work or mufflex has some sort of other bracket you can buy to fix it, I have even heard of guys stuffing a rag inbetween it and solving...personally I kept procrastenating to fix the problem and it eventually stopped banging!!

texas speed has a y pipe hanger that stops it

The transmission and motor mounts that energy suspenion sell sould fix it, it has on all the cars Ive worked on including my own.

Poly motor AND tranny mounts are a great idea for ANY performance car regardless or Y pipe. It will help prevent engine torquring. Also the Mufflex Y pipe hanger is a good idea. They are all pretty cheap and available from Thunder Racing.

If that doesn't fix it try relocating the Y pipe a bit. Usually brute force with the aid of a BFH and a oxi-acetylene tourch will do the trick.
