Question leaking coolant

i've found a small amt of cooling collecting under the car lately. today, i had the front up on ramps but couldn't tell where the leak was coming from. a couple weeks ago i added some premixed dexcool to the radiator. could i have put too much in?

if you really can't find where it is by just looking, you can get the flourescent dye and use a blacklight. Did you check by the water pump?

Check the weep hole on the water pump.
If it is the weep hole, you may also find orange coolant "residue" on the engine pan bolts (looks like orange grease).

the dye will not hurt the engine - have dyes for all fluids- oil, trans, coolant etc. works really well especially in tight spots where its hard to see specifically where its coming from & you can find the bottom of the "TRAIL" & follow it up
