Default Which header bolts???

What does everyone use for header bolts? Stock, ARP, ect... I'm getting ready to put headers on my car, and want some good bolts that have clearance frpm the primaries. Stage 8 is out of the question, used them on a buddies Kooks install and thet are a PITA.

I used Stage 8 locking bolts, I love those things, havent gotten loose on me once, and while yes it was a pain installing them, those things are never getting loose again

I reused my stock ones and haven't had any problems yet. Clean the threads up upon removal and re-install.

ARP only makes header studs for our cars and they run about 100 bucks a set. That being said, unless you just had the money burning a hole in your pocket, the sock ones would work just fine.

i put arp studs on myn and they are nice because its easy to install because you don't have to worry about lining the header up.

It is bad enough getting all the crap out of the way of the header...studs seem like they would make it that much worse unless it was a conversion swap into a different vehicle and the coils were relocated. ARP studs run like 94.99$ at SDPC. But Stockers have always been the way to go.
