Stock Formula Headers Hello,
I'm a new member and this site is excellent. All of the help is great. My question is what is the best set of headers for a stock car that will be the least intrusive and not require any modifications because the emission laws here keep the man down. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Stock Formula Headers Well, you can get shorty headers which are the same length as your stock exhaust manifolds. I have not seen any dyno comparo's on them, but would like to.
Next we have the Mac midlength headers. We always see good gains with these.

Last Dyno Day, we had 2 cars tie down with "shorties". Not impressed. Roughly 5rwhp. I'm making 5-10 more HP without any headers and stock ungutted cats.
You can spend your money more wisely on a $/hp basis. Mac's and Longtubes will yield 10-20rwhp depending on how f'ed up the guys MAF is.
I guess this will be my last post here, youse guys have a good time. It has been fun!
