do you need a gasket for an intake swap?

ya you will. and when you do this watch out for the oil pressure sending unit. Atleast thats what ive always heard.

What intake are you swapping? if its a used intake, you probally wont need the gaskets, but if its new i would check to see if it comes with em, also pickup a spair oil pressure sending unit, theres a 60% chance that it will get broken during the swap.

You will be able to re-use your 8 gray intake port seals and your orange throttle body seal. Re-used mine at 54K miles when I swapped in my LS6 intake. If you are over 100K, maybe pick some new ones up, just to freshen things up.
