Default header question

Hey guys, Im thinking of getting some longtube headers pretty soon. I was wondering if I needed to order headers with the EGR to pass emissions. Also, what do shops normally charge you guys to install headers, y pipe, and a catback? Thanks.

does your state require emissions testing? you can install everything yourself in a weekend and save money for other mods. otherwise look to spend a few hundred bucks to have someone else to it.

To get my Pacesetter LTs, catted Y, 02 bungs welded and fitted to my existing loudmouth 1, cost me $520. I had no lift or garage to use overnight, so thats all I could do. If your state does emissions, then you'll need the EGR, AIR fittings, all that to pass. You can get 02 sims if you don't run cats, but that's only if your state doesn't do a visual check.
