also, if you "gut" your cats, do U also get a code?

not having o2 sims will not affect performance as the rear o2's are only to measure catalyst efficiency. gutted cats won't affect performance either, just set the code. the front o2's are the ones the pcm sets fuel trim by.

Yep, that's right. The light on the dash is the ONLY side effect.

Not having 02 sims-does it hurt hp?

I have the EGR connected but I havent bought 02 sims for the y pipe, but the holes are plugged. Will this hurt hp since the SES light is on?

It has been my experience that not having the rear O2's will simply throw a code, not effect performance.
