Default Would like JBA header feedback

Don't see much about these shorties, so does anyone have any info? I don't want long tubes and am not looking for max power. I'm thinking of the JBA's with gutted cats.

My engine is stock except for SLP ram air hood, SLP cold air, lid with K&N, SLP Y pipe, and B&B Triflo. Car has 4.10 gears and I might add a mild cam.

Any feedback is appreciated re hp gain and sound.

Have them on my TA, and I would suggest that if you are not going long tube, to just stay with the stock manifolds. 0hp increase on the dyno..

Does sound better though, and really made my B&B sound sweet..

Consider MACs. I don’t want longtubes either, but there really is no gain from shorties. MACs have a lot less fitment issues and are quite a bit cheaper than longtubes. I’m doing MACs in the spring. Just don’t use the MAC cats, if you want cats for them get RTs or something.

I was happy with the set I put on my '99 SS and it definitely helped out my custom grind "Trooper Cam."

P.S.- The silver ceramic finish looks great too.

Well, with the Thunderracing cam and my JBAs I put down 375 at the rear wheels. I would defiantely have to say the JBAs are better than shorties. In all retrospect though I should have gone with MACs in the first place because I just swapped after I did my cam. But the JBAs are probably the best shorty out there for our cars.
