How To Wire A Cutout

can someone please tell me how to wire a switch to operate my electric cut out. i have the cut out but was never given the switch. any one that can help is appriciated.

What brand is it? Easiest thing to do is contact the manufacturer and purchase one.

Easy guy, sorry you took it that way, but the brand does make a difference. They come with "momentary" switches, some lighted, some not, different connections to the harness, etc. My QTP harness plugged in a few inches from the cutout before it went into the car - you didn't say if you even had all the wiring going from the cutout itself all the way to the switch either. I've installed QTP and DMH and they're both different. The cost w/shipping of the original switch might be less, and much easier/less time consuming than trying to start from scratch. Was just trying to help.

Off topic but wich cut out did you prefer the QTP or the DMH?
