Yea i owned 5 LT1 cars. By the time i sold the last LT1 car a month and a half ago I could do it in a little more than a hr and half. taking off the alternator,belt running new wires

when you're there do ALL the plugs, and ALL the wires. Don't be cheap at this point. This is the easiest it will ever be to change your plugs and wires.

Well I know now which sparkplugs to buy but a jack from norcal-ls1 is coming down to help me out and let me know which plugs I should get. How much did all the plugs cost you?

make sure man NGK-tr55's or AC Delco irridiums if you can afford the $57.00!! Im heading back to my boys house right now to finish my header install!

How did you make out? We finished up around 6pm. Car sounded good but guess what i got 2 codes so the car is still in wils garage. Im going to have to take the coil pack off of my 99 B4C to see whats up with the one on my SS other that that things went out. The stock dipstick sucks ***!

The LTs and ORY are on. I had to cut off his stock y-pipe because it was welded to the I-pipe where the original owner had put a chambered muffler infront of the cutout.

I brought with me some extra plug wires, a brand new set of NGK TR55s, GM MLS manifold gaskets, and just about all we needed. The install was a PITA because the Flowtechs required grinding the block and loosening the steering linkage, so it took us a little longer than it should, but his car is up and running!

BTW, he did not mess anything up at all, and he did the plug change himself with a few pointers rather quickly IMHO!

Let me know how the visit to the exhaust shop went to get the I-Pipe and collar welded! Oh yeah, enjoy your longtubes!

i have only 1 code now. Random misfire. going outside right now and swapping coilpacks and wires from my 99

Thanks for Azrael my longtubes are on. Now I just need to find a good bullet to replace my chambered muffler cause I think its way too loud hahaha. I made a thread about it, please check it out guys!

Oh yeah, with the right guide from Azrael I learned a lot. I made sure I watched everything that he did to learn as much as I can.

You have to take your time especially when you get to the passenger side.
It took me an entire weekend to do Jet Hot LTs & ORY, Dynomax intermediate pipe & and over axle pipe on my 02 SS, by myself.
