Default Problem 0xygen Sensors

I have a rcsb Silverado with a 5.3L. Anyway it is throwing codes for the banks 1 and 2 front and rear. The truck is running terrible. It also began to throw an egr code. What I am wondering is, why did all of it go within the same week and is that was is really wrong. I don't have the print off of the codes anymore but I know that that is what it said. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks-Preston

one of three things likely.....a air leak before the front o2s, which would cause both bank codes and make it run like garbage.....2.egr valve stuck open,......3. bad front o2s

Don't ignore a possible exhaust restriction.

I have a 2004 GMC RCSB 5.3L . Just went through the same thing turned out to be a bad cat and o2 sensor. At first it ran rich and the mpg fell off, then it would barely idle at all.

Thank for the replys what would happen if i just ran without cats. I have a true dual set up and two high flow cats. I was wondering is it ok to remove the egr setup? I am also needing to find a tuner in Arkansas that could tune out the rear o2's and the egr for me any suggestions? I have tried using search but it keeps timing out on me. Thanks- Preston
