S3 = bad idle?
S3 = bad idle? so i put the shaner s3 tb on my car the other day it started right up with no problems! ran fine! now after a day it wont want to idle when you start it? i turn the key on and it cranks then the rpm's drop then dies, then i crank it and hold the rpm's at like 2000 and let it warm up, then runs fine. so what do you guys think i could do?
Doesn't he say on his site that the PCM has to relearn everything with the new TB? If you search you should find the info I'm talking about.

Best one to talk to on this would be Shaner himself. Give him a call, he'll get you straightened out. BTW, I had no such issues when I installed mine, so something's off.

check your IAC and the TB blade. Hold the tb up to light to be sure there isn't A LOT of light coming in around the blade.
Most of the time, the set screw isn't set right or if you bought the TB used, the blade has been drilled for a cam.

I should have clarified the oring and make sure it is properly seated. I've seen people put them on with the O ring when there was already an oring in the TB body.
