L76 intake/L92 head questions
1.)Do the L92s bolt up to the LS1?
2.)Why are they so freakin cheap? (Part #12582714 @ SDPC $175 bare {I'm not sure if this is for a pair or one, assuming one}). I've always assumed great performance equaled high price, but if everything I've read is true, these unported heads flow 300 cfm...
3.)What all can I use from my 241 casting heads (Springs, retainers, etc.)?
4.)Will a NW 90mm throttle body bolt right up to the L76 intake?
Thanks,
Alex

1) No, you need at least a 4 inch bore to run the L92 heads. You cannot run them on LS1/LS6 engines without sleeving the block and expanding the bore. Or getting an LS2 block, or L92 block, or a GMPP LSX block, or a C5R block, or a 6.0 iron block...
2) They are mass produced truck heads.
3) Nothing unless you want to run a cam as small as your stocker. Maybe the retainers but you should upgrade those anyway.
4) I'm not sure on that one.
On a 408 you should be able to run them though since you need a 4 inch+ bore block to make a 408 (currently).
