Possible MISFIRE HELP ME!!!

Possible MISFIRE HELP ME!!! so this is the second time that this has happened to me. Last week i was driving on the highway, and the car like jerked twice. I went to school and about 4 hours later i was driving home and it jerked again and just cut off. It started right back up but the check engine light was on. I scanned the code and the CKP was bad. I changed it and the light went off and all was good. Last night, I was romping on it at about 80 and it did the sameee **** all over again. But this time it did it about 4 times on the way home. WTF COULD IT BE!! I have full bolt-ons including headers and a tsp ORY. Personally I think the wires are melting because of the headers.....If the a few wires are bad from the harness, how long would it take to repair? How can i prevent the wires from melting in the future again? thanks!

You could buy some spark plug socks, or position them so they don't touch the primaries.
