I am putting an ls1 into an off road truck and have been throwing the idea around about a mechanical fan and fan clutch for the engine. damn near all the people i know in the off road industry say run a mechanical fan the electric ones dont cool as well as a mechanical one. so can a mechanical fan and fan clutch be bolted on to the engine? I searched summit with no results. any help is appriciated.

My friends Trailblazer SS (LS2 powered) has a mechanical fan, might be something worth checking out.
