O2 sensor problem

O2 sensor problem I got the Service Engine Soon light, it threw 4 codes all having to do with the O2 sensors. I've got the full exhaust with O2 simulators.
What's my best way to go about fixing this? How much do new sensors cost? Do I really need to replace them? [(my buddy said it will burn a little extra fuel) I never drive it, 20,000 miles total, so I don't mind if the only effect is burning extra fuel, and I just won't know if I throw another code because the light will stay on]

I just had one (front) 02 sensor done on my car, and it cost to diagnose $39, the part itself was $88, labor since it was the front was $102. My check engine light was on and it was saying bad front 02 sensor.
Have you used the simulators for a while now? If so, then it's problably not the simulators...you might just have had an 02 sensor go out that happens periodically. From the code you should be able to tell if it's throwing for front/rear sensor so you can narrow it down.
With a bad 02 sensor your engine may not run right it might be excessively rich or lean, and it won't be very much consistant.

thanks, I've had them for probably over 3 years. My buddy has a labtop with a program and he looked up the codes, your right, it does tell wheater its the front or rear, don't have it with me, but thanks.

I drove on bad 02s for a while. I did notice a loss in fuel mileage. And it acutally got to the point the plugs on the right side all fouled and I barely got the car to the auto parts store and back. Once again I have a 02 with a slow switching code for the last 3 months, and probably will replace it again soon before things get bad again.
