Default B&B v. Flowmaster

Alright after some reading I was reading B&B sucks as far as flowing. I can get the entire catback for $225 from a local, right now i have stock 2 3/4in pipe and a flowmaster welded on.

Do you think I would see performance gain over the flowmaster set up? I guess I'm going to get a cut out to get the flow I need.

Is the B&B really that shitty as far as flow goes. My car put down 376 with the verter unlocked with the flowmaster.

no offense but the B&B is a very respectable cat-back and ive seen on a dyno a stock Z28 with just the B&B gain 17 horses at the wheels. i havent seen just the flow numbers on a stock Z with the flowmaster setup but alot of guys on here wouldnt run flowmaster if someone gave it to them for free.

Cool. ya I know the flowmaster sucks as far as flow and the flowmaster with a stock 2 3/4 cant be to great. Hopefully my car sees some pretty decent gains considering its cammed and all, the flowmaster might be choking it up.

I searched on th B&B and people were saying they didnt flow for ****, but you know how the internet goes....

Only the 80 series Flowmasters that come on the dual out catbacks hurt performance. The single out systems that use a 40 series muffler flow very well and are comparable to all the other systems.

I got 3in from Y pipe back with the B&B. It seems to pull harder on top end. I love this set up, sounds so smooth and alot quieter than Flowmaster.
