Default QTP or Hooker headers.

Hey guys got some header questions for you and yes I searched first. First off has any one tried these hooker stainless steel headers? And is it worth the money over ceramic coated ones? Second if I go the stainless route how does it compare to the QTP headers. There site says there the longest longtube. They are not as expensive as they used to be so I was kinda excited when I saw that. I like that HVMC they have, would that make that much more power over any of the Hooker's? And how do I know to go with either 1 3/4 or 1 7/8's? I dont plan on using a Y pipe I wanna go with a true dual setup probably an X pipe with the magnaflow 6inch bullets and I want to install cam that will get me to 400 HP or close to it cam only untill I can aford the heads. Thanks in advance!

I would go with the Kooks headers and for you current upgrades 1 3/4 will be plenty. The 1 7/8 will be too large for you mods. If not the Kooks my second choice would be the Q-tips

Ok so 1 3/4 if I stay with these mod's gotcha. But how bout a cam. I am having the work done all at the same time so what size headers should I run with the cam?

1 3/4 is fine for a cam setup. most people here with h/c have the 1 3/4 size.

i have the 1 7/8 Kooks without h/c and it feels fine with my stock displacement, strong as hell too. I plan on stoking sometime next year so I went BIG with my headers.

good luck!
