One Kool Cat

I have a set of cats in my garage that Im looking to sell. One of them has a three bolt flange on either side of it which is fine. The other one has a three bolt flange where it mounts to the exhaust manifold but then it goes directly to the merge at the end of the y-pipe. Theres no way to unbolt it so I have to cut it behind the cat. I just wanted to know if they only did this in certain years, or they are all like that. I dont want to miss inform any possible buyers.
