Default question rewarding headers

OK guys this might sound kind of stupid to most if u but here my situation I got a 98 LS1- t56 camaro that my friends replacing the motor with a 01 LS1 and he suggested I should install some headers while the motor is out. So which year headers will fit my car the 98-99 or 00-02? cause I think I should purchase headers for a 00-02 right?

Correct. Every year will fit the block none will have clearance issues, just a matter of the placement of the emmissions fittings....
