Default Pacesetter LTs

Hey guys i need some help here, i just installed some pacesetter lts everything went real well (only took 3 hours) and i didnt break anything. I still got to get my true duals ran next week, but my prob is i went for a test drive with open headers and the car seem to be missing and running bad, i pulled the front plugs on the drivers and pass side, the drivers side was solid black and the pass side was clean as could be, threw a misfire code, egr code, and a o2 heater code, but i got race headers so the AIR and EGR was taken off, will this clear up after i get my exhaust on or is something wrong somewhere? Merry Christmas!

you're going to need to get the air/egr tuned out or you'll be pulling the same codes over and over. you should be ok once you finish the exhaust up.

if its throwing a missfire code double check your wiring, plugs, wires, coil pack connections etc...yes it probably will throw some egr codes & maybe some front o2 codes since your running on open headers, but i really shouldnt throw any missfire codes for no obvious reason.

Double checked all connections, i put in new plugs and wires during the install, so all that stuff is good, i guess running open headers could make it run real rich but its only effecting the drivers side, could i've messed up an O2 sensor running with open headers?

i ran open headers for about 1/2 a day w/o any problems engine wise. only thing that happed was when the car was at a certain rpm it shook real bad causing my ttops to unlock. one actually flew off on my way to getting my y put on.

Check your fuse box under the hood for blown fuses. I blew one and it shut down all the coil packs on the passenger side.

it shouldn't run rich thats what the 02 ajust is air fuel ratio. the after cat ones are just monitors for the cat.
