Which cat-back is better?
I had a Corsa on my LT1 camaro with fully polished tips, which they dont even offer my style any more I found out. I kept the exhaust when the car was parted out so I will reuse.
The interior sound is awesome, because you can bearly hear it under 2k. This is with out CATS and with LT headers on a 383. When I swap mine over to the LS1, I will cut to fit, put high flow cats to give it nice sound but not be rediculous.
Borla is another good unit. I like it alot.
Now both are pricey, so If I was going mid range, I would pic Magnaflow.
Magnaflow= great price, stainless, good sound not to loud
Corsa=$$, great sound w/cats raspy w/o cats. beatiful tips
Borla= $$ but adjustable and can put an electric cutout on the plate side
SLP=cheap if found used, sounds good with or w/o cats
if your going ORY setup id go magnaflow or slp
w/ cats magnaflow or corsa

i run a dual/dual , ory LT's and love it ,quiet , no rasp or drone, draws no attention and if i want loud just open the cutout

now a loudmouth, yea it'd sound absolutly terrible
We both agree then, and it's probably good that we cleared that up so the guy doesn't get confused and buy the wrong cat-back (don't wanna see the poor guy get pulled over by the rasp police).Summary: LT's + ORY + SLP LM = Loud, raspy
I really like the sound of this exhaust. The car is not obnoxiously loud and has a nice sound from behind in regular driving. It screams at WOT.
Like stated previously, you can't go wrong with Magnaflow, Hooker, Corsa, Borla or SLP. It's personal preference, price and appearance. Just avoid the Flowmaster due to it's bad flow characteristics.
