Default Driver's side exhaust hanger

I installed my hooker exhaust today, but i have a quick question.

Which way is the driver's side exhaust hanger supposed to face.

Picture 1

Picture 2

I have mine posistioned as in the second picture, but i think possibly it should be like the first. The driver side of my muffler seems to be hanging lower than the other.

picture 1 is missing now, but it had both hangers pointing towards the front. as it turns out, that would be the correct way to mount it. the direction in picture 2 is incorrect.

Not sure whiich way is right or wrong, but the rubber hanger looks pretty well worn out to me. Might consider replacing it to tighten the system up. You can also tighten a hose clamp around the rubber hanger to take up the slack like in the attached pic.
