Default Cutom Fabbed Y?

im going to fab up a custom cattted Y and dont know if these parts will do the trick?
-Flowmaster slip on reducer cones Part# FLO-R3025...3" inlet/ 2.5" outlet
-Cat-Co Slip Fit universal cats Part# CT0-6906R...2.5" inlet/outlet
-Magnaflow Merge Y pipe Part # 10768 (do i need a 2.5"inlet/3" outlet?)
im using magnaflow catback and dont know the diameter of the catback's I-pipe.
Since the pacesetters have no flanges, do i use band clamps to connect the reducers to them?

The Magnaflow is 3" at the ipipe.
Why are you using CatCo Cats? Magnaflow/Carsound cats are much more proven cat.
I would imagine band clamps would work just fine...
Are you doing it yourself completely or taking the parts to a shop? If the latter they should be able to connect it.
Flowmaster also makes collectors for ypipes

"If the latter they should be able to connect it."
What do you mean by this?

I mean if you are taking it to a shop they should be able to figure out the connections.

But I guess you are doing it yourself so that's a moot point...

The flowmaster collector is 2 x 2.5" for the ypipe, then 3" collector for the ipipe, so that should fit up with the Magnaflow catback (3") just fine. If you are going to be running a 2.5" ypipe (sounds like a good plan) then you would want to go with the 2.5" carsound cats.

We used the Flowmaster 3>2.5 reducers on my buddy's Pacesetter install with band clamps. Worked perfect.
