Does anyone have directions on how to install headers
Does anyone have directions on how to install headers i got headers and i dont really wanna pay for them to be installed it doesnt look too hard. the only thing i would need to pay for is the y pipe welding wich could be done easily if anyone has installation procedures i would really appreciate it
step one, remove old exhaust then manifolds.
step two, put new headers on with new exhaust
its pretty straight forward, you can figure it out as you go, if your getting rid of your egr and air look for some writeups on here how people took it off. dont weld the y-pipe to the headers, that would be bad.

Do the poly motor mounts too!!!...to keep the y pipe from banging from the start. If you do this you wont have to cut off the little piece of the block on the driver side. Its no big deal, just a little casting tab thats always in the way, and if you're doing the motor mounts at the same time the engine would be jacked up enough to where it wouldnt be in the way depending on how you did it.
