Default Magnaflow catback....go catted or ory pipe???

first of all, ive had the magnflow with headers and ory pipe before. it sounded awesome!!! the only thing i didnt like was the raspy sound i got on decel. i figure if i go catted this time when i do headers, it will cure the rasp problem. however, i know i will lose some of the raw, muscle sound...not to mention lose a lil power. ive heard plenty of magnaflow/ory setups, but i havent heard many magnaflow/catted y setups. can i have some opinions from yall out there? also, if anyone has maganflow with headers and a catted y pipe, please post a sound clip. thanks

I'm interested too because I'd like to refine my sound a bit. I like how it sounds most of the time, but the rasp gets annoying. Though it is fun going under and underpass in 2nd or 3rd at around 2500RPMs and hammering it and make everyone deaf

i had cats on my headers with my magnaflow and there was some rasp. then i took the cats off and put ory pipe in and got a little tiny bit raspier. in all it didnt really matter to much with or without the cats. sounds close to the same. although i do like it more with no cats cause it does get louder.

I would go catted ypipe. The handful of hp you would be giving up will me more than made up by a better sound.
