Default Dynomouth set-up......help please!!

I am wanting to do the dynomouth set-up.....but I'm not sure which dynomax bullet muffler to order. Should I use 2.5 or 3" pipe? What is the difference in sound? Any information would be great!!! Thanks!!

I've got a borlamouth right now and im not happy with it at all. My advice to you is to ditch the loudmouth all together and start over with another cat back. I really want to. Im not sure of the part number for the dyno muffler. If you're going to have it all welded up then it might not be bad, but if you're like me and you're still working on stuff and the exhaust comes on and off every once in a while then i wouldnt advise this set up. The fitment isnt that great, especially since it wasnt made to be a kit like this. And get ready for the leaks. I've got my loudmouth tube on right now just because i couldnt stand all the leaks. If i could trade for a magnaflow i would.

It's not going to make much difference, except to fit the piping that you have on there (is it 2.5" or 3"?), go with whatever is on there. I highly recommend a Magnaflow catback to any type of loudmouth exhaust though, because it's a ton more refined and sounds much better with a whole lot more combinations.

ok I'm really confused. He is what I have right now.......everything is stock.....except i cut the muffler off so it dumps right over the axle. It actually sounds like a loudmouth as it is, but I have no back pressure. And i really don't like how it sounds like it is sucking air in when i let off the throttle. I already ordered the dynomax bullet. Maybe that will help you guys help me.

Thanks a bunch!!

Return the bullet and buy a Magnaflow catback, that's my option. It will sound much better and work with so many more combos. Plus it won't be just hacked on there, like the bullet.

Backpressure is not good, you don't want ANY backpressure, at all, in a perfect exhaust system. That's why True Duals with a straight-through muffler is so good, it doesn't have any backpressure like stock ypipe systems.

Here, read my borlamaouth thread, it should help you with things like driveshaft clearance. I like my borlamouth, still loud but deeper and less rasp. https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthrea...ght=borlamouth
