Default Just Installed LT's, R/S O2 Sensor issue!!! Please Help!

Alright, over the weekend I installed my pacesetter coated LT's & TSP ORY. The Fitment is excellent IMO. I didnt have to cut any tabs on the block or clearance the K-Member or Control Arms. Except for some vibration due to the Y hitting my Torque Arm and under the driver's floor, my Passenger side O2 sensor(the housing part of the O2) is touching my transmission.

It looks bad enough if I dont fix it, that it will cut my Sensor Wires. Has anybody else had this problem? Is there a cheap way to fix this like a 90 degree fitting to plug the O2 into? Anything will help. Thanks for the help!!

I installed mine and they are the exact same way! All i did is tie them up real good and hope like hell they break or rub through! Down the road some when i get it on the rack im going to trim the bung down a little so the sensor will farther in the header, this should help it get a better reading also, along with a little more clearance!

Trimming the bung doesnt sound like a bad idea. I was just thinking of adding another bung w/ better clearance and saving that one for a wideband once I get into some elaborate HP Tuning!! Might have to trim it instead!!

I would leave at least 3-4 good threads in so it will be able to hold a good torque without stripping or backing out!

yes, thanks for the idea. Mine are the same way, I just never bothered coming up with a plan. Problem is getting the o2 back out of the header is a bitch.

How exactly would I trim the o2 bung?

Thats what Im gonna do, might wanna make sure you got an 18mm tap or thread cleaner in case the sensor wont start in the hole after grinding.

I'd like to see a pic of this if possible. No adjustment of the Y-pipe/exhaust helps at all?

I am unable to take a good pic of mine. My O2 sensor was touching when only the headers were installed on the car. Im gonna figure it out this weekend maybe, when I can get a garage to work out of!! I'll take a pic before I mod it if nobody posts one 1st.

Its the o2 bung on the collector. Since the header bolts hold that in a pretty tight spot so nothing can really move the sensor at all.
