Default tb spacer worthwhile?

seems like a lot of the c6 guys are using them with the vararams and i was just curious if they are even worthwhile? ive got an extra one just laying here it looks like it would bolt up to a 90/90.

TB spacers theoretically work on carb engines, where it allows more airspace for the air/fuel mixture to "mix up". Since the injectors on most FI engines are way behind where a TB spacer goes, they don't do anything.

Nope. Waste of money. As said above on carburated engines they have some advantages. I recently read an article testing these spacers (think it was on HP Pontiac?) and some HP increase was detected vehicle with conventional carburator setups.

It's cheap for a reason, I've never seen anyone on this site run the tb spacers. Might as well get a tornado fuel saver if you want to waste cash.

Do it. If you already have it, see if it makes a difference on a dyno.

I'm sure you are low on numbers due to that Dana 60 rear end. I want one myself as well.

do it...why not? if its just sitting there, swapping a TB is cake...you said it would bolt-up to a 90/90...thus can we conclude you got a 90/90?

Probably going to make your bellow/maf/lid connection a bit tighter and harder to put together, as well as gain you next-to-no HP.

If you want a tb spacer that actually picks up power, get a nitrous plate!
