All I can say is for 360 bucks coated these are excellent headers. The quality is Very good; the flanges are crazy thick for a cheap set of headers. The Y pipe on the other hand is not what the headers are. I had to grind a ton of material where the two pipes merge due to the passenger side pipe being blocked off inside the y pipe. Aside from grinding the Y pipe it fits good, tucked really well. I have to say installing headers on a LS1 seems much easier than the LT1. I had the manifolds off and both headers on by my self in just a few hours. Car sure sounds diff now

Glad to hear everything went pretty smoothly! How high did you have the car off the ground? What Y pipe do you have?

yeah the pacesetters are great headers. ive had 3 set now and theyve always gone in easy and fit great with little to no clearance problems.

the Y pipe is from pacesetter. I had the car up there id say 2 1/2 to 3' from the oil pan to the floor.

Thats it? What the hell did i do wrong to need the car up like 2 ft in the air? And i still needed to grind a little off the k-member.
