It's going to sound raspy as hell, you need cats with that catback, or you need a different catback.

Why the hell would you buy something, THEN ask questions?

i'm with casey. you should have DEFINITELY ordered the catted-y with that. there's no point in ordering a GMMG when you don't run cats. you may has well have saved your money and bought a loudmouth, since it's going to sound similar. just loud and raspy, at least that is the general LS1tech consensus. if i were you, i'd cancel your order and repurchase with a catted-y, or at least call them and attempt to change the order. you made a big mistake for sure. if it's too late to cancel, i'd go ahead and order a set of mangaflow metallic core bullet cats for roughly $80 a piece and bolt them in the y-pipe. in this case, flanges are your friend, so invest in a set of them if you choose to go this route.

sorry dude. loud? yes. sound good? no. it'll be loud, raspy and obnoxious. you may as well just run a loudmouth. you'll lose GMMG's signature tone without cats. GMMG requires cats to sound good. otherwise, it's just noise. whomever told you that has no ear for sound quality. it's just raw, raspy noise.

Amen to the 9348217th Power.

Cancel your order and get a catted Y. Like, as soon as you're done reading this post.

FWIW, I have a link to my Kooks/Catted Y/GMMG in my sig. I don't think you'll find a Longtube/ORY/GMMG video clip since most people know it sounds like ***.
