Question ????MAF sensor

Will a 98-99 MAF fit on an 00-02 trans am???? And will it hurt to do that??????

Yes it will fit just fine. Why would it hurt it? If it is ported or de-screened it might change your A/F ratio up a bit. That is all it will do at the most.

to my knowledge the computer system if you get a tuner or granatelli MAF, it says on the box for 99-03 GM gas cars and trucks. i know that the 98 LS1s have a different tune, but not sure if the 98 tune effects the MAF.

The MAF sensors are the same between the years.
