Beck LS7 Cross-Ram Intake

It was in the $4K range due to all the custom CNC programming and fab work. There is a TON of labor in this thing, as well as solid chunks of aluminum to make the runners. His normal sheetmetal intakes (like the C5-R one above) are in the $2K range I believe.

When I saw those runners I just about took a ****! $4k is CHEAP!!

But seriously those runners look amazing. The Best V8 Stories One Small Block at Time
but at the risk of sounding negative... it doesnt look like a crossram...the top cover half looks plain... it looks like every other sheetmetal GM intake out there...
dont get me wrong it looks amazing.... but one of the things that made the crossram intake so unique was its dual carb (or dual throttlebody)
if you had a new top cover made that had dual vertical throttlebodies, that would be over the top cool.....
just my opinion of course... it still looks amazing... and i dont want to take anything away from how great it is... im just thinking, that dual throttlebody lid over it would make it even better.

That would look cool, but I'm not cutting the hood of my '69 Camaro to do that, lol.
just fit it like the original crossram did....
a pair of low profile "4 barrel carb" throttlebodies, with the crossram style linkage between them would be perfect....
even better if you spaced them so could fit the original crossram aircleaner assembly on top.... THAT would be awesome! *drool*
