k&n intake kit?? any good?

Is this any better than just getting a lid??

Get one for the looks, if you like it. K&N had to make something "different" to draw part of the market in from the 2000 companies who make lids. The lid/filter arrangement doesn't restrict any power for 550rwhp all-motor beasts, so I'd say you're probably good to go with one.
