Dumped Exhaust
I have a 98 Firebird and was wanting to do away with the exhaust out the rear and dump in in front of the axle. I was going to keep my off road y pipe and just use 1 muffler. I was wanting to know if anyone has any pictures of a setup like this and what kind of muffler i can use. I was thinking a Dynatech Split-Flow Oval Race Muffler or maybe 1 of the borla xr-1 race mufflers.

Why do you want to do this? If I were you I would keep the stock ypipe setup and just get a catback, like Magnaflow.
But if you want to use one muffler, you just have to extend the piping after the ypipe back and to the axle, then dump it there with a bullet muffler.
You can use any round-canister or bullet type muffler. Though the larger your muffler, the worse your ground clearance.
