Default Question about what HP/TQ to expect.

First, my car is a 2000 Z28 M6. It is my DD and I am looking for good numbers, but they are not that important to me to spend twice as much on Kooks headers to get a few more HP. Also, I am looking for a good sound that isn't to crazy at low RPM's but really opens up when you get on it. Right now I only have a lid.

What numbers should I anticipate with coated Pacesetter headers, TSP catted Y-pipe and a magnaflow or hooker exhaust?

A few other questions.
Are those good catbacks for what I want?
Should I get a catted Y or save $200 and get the ORY?
I have heard a few negative things about not having cats, like bad smell, and raspy exhaust.

Thanks,
Matt

I am running Catted LT's w/ a borla C/B and a lid also. After an LS1 Edit I ran 336rwhp/346rwtq.

Expect around 330RWHP/340RWTQ.

I ran 340rwhp/356rwtq through Pacestters, ORY and Flowmaster (which is costing me a ton right now) exhaust. As far as whether or not to go ORY or Catted.... That would depend on your local emmisons. Anyway, both of those systems are good as hell. I think that the Hooker is a bit quieter at Idle but both scream pretty good at WOT.

I live in Ohio and as of right now there is no emissions testing. They seem to change that every 6 years or so, whenever they need to generate some tax revenue.

i got 334/345 with lt's ORY with plenty of leaks, and a volant intake. With a tune you should be upwards of 350-360, depending on ur stock hp, cause that varies too. Get cats... keep it legal. Im gettin cats on my new true dual setup.

You might want to consider a custom ypipe with cats. What you do is buy the cats separately, then take them to your muffler/exhaust guy, and have them build a ypipe with those cats right on the car. It should come in at or around $200, plus another $100 for cats. But fitment should be better, if your exhaust guy is good.

You might want to also consider True Duals. Something like the Bassani True Dual kit, which is refined, yet rumbles with the best of them. It will net you more tq and maybe a little bit more hp than a ypipe setup.
