Default poly motor mounts

is it necessary to have poly motor mounts installed after a cam install? my car has about 62,000 miles and I know the cam causes the engine to run rougher.....so thinking about having poly motor mounts put on. What you think guys?

Do it. Its not too bad, just take your time and have gear rachet wrenches handy.

You'll waste less energy that you'd normally have to use picking the motor up and putting it back down. This translates into better 1/4 mile performance.

The motor will be rockin'-and-rollin' after the cam (if you go big) with the stock mounts, barely move with poly. Some people say it makes their car feel more solid. It's a good mod, but it's a pain to do with the exhaust installed. If you're having someone do it for you, get a quote, then let them find out how hard it is.

Go with the poly mounts. Then there is less chance of twisting the bellhousing bolts, or having headers leak due to all of that motion of the engine. The stock mounts are pretty soft.
