Default LT's

What kind of hp gains am I looking at when switching my SLP LT's to some top headers made now days, for example QTPs or Kooks, with these fancy Hi velocity collectors and stuff.. ?

I don't know that you'd gain a whole lot by switching. You may be getting some better ground clearance but probably not too much more power. Unless you're swapping them because the SLPs are damaged or falling apart, you may consider saving your money on something else.

JMHO.

I've heard numerous people say a LT is a LT these days. May get better ground clearance though. I love my SLP LT's!!!

According to SLP you'll lose around 20-25hp! Maybe +5 IMO it wouldn't be worth the swap unless you're looking for clearance.

Well that's what I think, LTs are LTs. I don't have problems with clrearnace as my car sits pretty damn hihg as it is.
I just wanted to know because I saw all these new headers with some fancy sounding hi-velocity collectors, that should give You up to extra 30rwhp against other LTs and **** like that. I just wanted to see if this is something new, other than advertising and marketing to get money out of peoples pocket.
As we all know, SLP LT's collectors almost don't exist.

Just making sure!

Thanks fellas.

Are you lowered?.... If not that's why you love them.. . I'm lowered and I'm tired of tripping on everything.... ESPECIALLY at gas station fill caps in the ground!
