How much HP left in my setup?

Default How much HP left in my setup?

Right now im running a simple cam/longtubes/catback setup on my 00 WS6. Cam specs are 228/230 .571 .573 112LSA. With stock throttle body, LS1 intake manifold, and stock crank pulley it made 385whp 370tq.

What I am wondering is, will I hit 420+HP, 11sec zone, or 118mph+ traps with LS6 intake/ported TB, underdrive pulley? Will I need a FAST 90/90 to get there instead of the LS6? Im just debating whether or not I need to go with a bigger cam or not, heads arent in the budget since I need to upgrade the manifold/TB/pulley anyways....

No worries about the drivetrain, im running QA1's, BMR suspension, and will be using 4.10's.

It'll be tough to do it with an LS6, thats a 35 HP difference with the gains from the pulley being more to get you in the power band quicker than to make that much m ore power. I think a FAST 90/90 and the pulley is a much better setup and might get you there, porting the FAST may help too. If it does get you there let us know because I've been contemplating the FAST 90/90 for mine, I'm still on the LS6 intake and stock TB and making 400 RWHP, if I can gain another 20 or so I'd be ecstatic.

If you're at 385, you'd probably make another 20-30 hp, with tb, ls6 intake, and pulley. IMO it's not worth dishing out $1200+ for the FAST 90/90 with your mods. Just get those 3 boltons and you'd be good to go.

I went from the ls6 intake and thunde racing tb to the Fast 90 & NW 90 and as soon as i put it on the car i felt a difference.I would buy the Fast all over again if i had too.If money is no problem them go with the Fast if you don't have the extra cash the ls6 would be a good investment too.
