My PCV Line was disconnected the whole time.

I was changing my coils and plugs and wires today. I was finishing up and making everything neat in the engine bay and noticed that the PCV connection on the rear passenger side that connects to the rear drivers side PCV connection was totally disconnected and has been since god knows when. I went to connect it and noticed the rubber 90 degree elbow was split in half and I would not be able to use it again. I went and got some 3/8" fuel injection line and replaced that section.

What sort of problems would a completely disconnected PCV line cause? Poor idle? Poor fuel economy? Poor performance?

Im interested to know.

well...you were at least venting the crankcase...just did not have 100% vacuum...probably nothing...any oil coming out of the hole??

Just oil spraying all over your firewall and then down onto your hot Catalytic converter or longtubes. You might have notices some smoke under the hood after nailing the gas.
