Default Sensor question

What is the sensor on top of the intake that sits on the back right side by the #7 injector? I just rebuilt my motor and had it tuned and my afr will be 14.7:1 then out of nowhere it gets real rich and sputters. Then after a minute or so it comes back and starts firing on all 8 again. I removed that sensor because I removed the AIR system and thought this was a part of it. Maybe I'm mistaken.

If it was a little spaceship looking disk thing, then it was part of the AIR system. Any pics of it? The only other sensors back there is the MAP sensor, oil pressure sending unit, and cam position sensor. You'd definatly know it if any of those were tweaked up.

It wasn't the oil pressure sending unit or the cam position sensor. It's attached to a metal L bracket and it slides into the intake manifold.

That was part of the AIR system. It does have a small vacuum line attatched that needs to be plugged though.
