likely unless there is no fuel in the lines. you're not gonna get much fuel at all, just a dot on a paper towel. change your fuel filter because it COULD be hopelessly clogged. it's unlikely, though, but it won't hurt as it's only ~$12. it sounds like your fuel pump's screwed my man

The pump is not going to go from working, to not, unless it's broken, in which case you won't hear it come on. Your problem lies somewhere else.

First and foremost, check all fuses (even under the hood if you forgot). There is a small fuse panel on the side of the dash as well. Take a spark plug, plug it into a plug wire, ground the sparkplugs threads on something, and see if it's sparking.

BTW - Did you push the shrader in with the fuel pump on or off? My pressure bleeds off my system pretty quickly and not much fuel comes out afterwards.

well I had someone turn the key and try to start it when I had the valve down and nothing came out. I checked the fuses but I will check them again just to be sure. I am going to undo the hoses from the pump to the filter to see if any gas is coming through. If it is then I will see if it is the filter by undoing the hose in front of it. If neither one is the problem how do you check to see if it is the fuel regulator? Is there anything electrical it could be?
Blurls1 the fuel pump is coming on everytime when I turn the key over so hopefully your right and it is the filter. I pray its the filter I dont have $400 to just throw away on a pump.

There's a y-block right after the line comes out of the tank. One side goes back to the regulator, other side goes to the filter. You could yank off the tank discharge line and see if it's coming out of there.

If NO fuel is coming out, it's probably not the regulator. If I was you, I'd throw in at least a walbro 255 or something if it's indeed bad. You'd be good for plenty of fuel later on.

well I took off the fuel line from the filter and the pump. The pump is the problem. I hear it turning on when I trun the ignition on but it is not pumping any gas. Is there an emergency shut off switch or something I might have missed. Fuses are good. I was wondering if there was a chance the new pcm I got put in might be messing up.<But I havent noticed anything else messing up because I cant get it to start to see. Well I guess the next step is to call a tow truck and get it taken to a shop because I dont see how I am going to drop my fuel tank and change it with a full tank of gas. Dang I should of kept my 76 vette. I miss the good old carb 350. I am tired of all this new age bs.

You could blow air into the evap line with a compressor and it will force all the fuel out of the fuel line. Might be able to drain the tank that way.

Also, you could do the "cut a hole" to access the pump method.
