my belt keeps shredding on the front of the belt towards the front of my car i dont know what is wrong with it. when i spin the power steering pulley it looks like it is bent could this be the problem or is there something else causing this can someone help me out? thanks in advance

 

If it's bent, theres your problem. Any pulley not in perfect alignment can cause belt shredding or cause it to jump off. Check all your pulleys first.

 

 

pulley alignment! my guess is p/s pulley isn't back far enough on the pump shaft.
