cold air kits
yea it comes from under the air lid. the FTRA is a nice kit but the SSRA and sealing the airbox to the hood are the 2 best. theres no way around it, the SSRA goes farther down and picks up more air and sealing it to the hood rams it in better and has a straight path
The rubber seal is removed when the block off plate is install effectively putting the car back to stock breathing. The block off plate can also be used for testing.
Even ram air equipped cars should use the front seal for best performance. The stock hoods just don't work very well and the FTRA will easily outperform them all.
