Get a lid and cutout then stall (I don't know A4s much, but from what I've read here, stall seems to be one of the best mods to do for an A4). Good luck.

deffanitly get a lid, headers and either td's or some sort of cat back system with an catted or non catted y pipe.....but you would deffanitly love the true duals.

Then a stall

stall is an automatic .2-.3 in the quarter, anything you do will improve. Headers are good, Slp Ls6 intake, high flow cats.

Personally I like my slp dual dual you can pick one up for around 250 used. Its a very quiet exhaust but flows very well. Catbacks are expensive, but dont add much power. So the hp to $ ratio isnt very good!

Headers and duals, hands down. You want your engine to b-r-e-a-t-h-e. That will give you the single biggest bolton increase in hp at this level.

If you don't like the loudness and ground clearance of TSP duals, consider the Bassani True Dual kit. It's much better ground clearance, over the axle and out the rear, and is much more refined sounding. Your only other option for duals is totally custom, but that can also be more expensive.
