Default ls6 intake ?s

i am interested in buying an ls6 intake, do u have to upgrade to a 90mm tb? or can u leave the stock one and just port it?

You are fine with the stock LS1 throttle body. Port it while you have it off doing the intake swap.

my 02 came with it from the factory and i haven't upgraded the TB yet.

The LS6 is designed for the stock tb size not a 90mm. A 90 won't fit the LS6 without modification.

thats cool, cuz i thought u had to get a 90mm and those are like $450 and i thought that was crazy just to get one to fit on ur car.

if your lookin at a 90mm tb then just spend the nut for the fast intake, a NW 90 mm tb and fast 90mm intake, done deal

The 90 mm TBs are for the FAST. However there is a sponser here (TPIS maybe) that modfies your ls6 intake to accept a larger TB. Not worth it on the ls6 intake imo too little to make a noticeable difference.
